We have an excellent reputation within the Folsom medical community. Our office is patient-centered and results-oriented with a relaxed and friendly environment.

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated and enthusiastic Physical Therapist to join our great team! At ROC Physical Therapy, we're happy to encourage our therapists to use their education and skills, while offering peer support and mentorship that will ensure they reach their fullest potential!

Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities:

  • Determines physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription/referral/direct access.
  • Provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results.
  • Helps patients accomplish their treatment plan by administering exercises, manual therapy and using equipment as necessary.
  • Evaluates and records patient's progress, modifying treatment plans, and trying new treatments if required.
  • Instructs patients on proper at-home exercises and therapies.
  • Professional, respectful and works with a positive attitude.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Must meet the educational requirements set by the California Board of Physical Therapy.
  • The applicant must have a current physical therapy license through the State of California or a PTLA status.
  • Experience within a private clinic or hospital is preferred but new graduates and PTLAs are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Work Hours & Benefits:

Full-time schedule is flexible. (Early or late start times, 4 days or 5 days) Part-time schedule: 3 days/wk with occasional vacation/sick coverage. We offer a Competitive Salary package including Medical Benefits, PTO, Continuing Education, Retirement Plan and Paid Holidays.

  • Helps patients accomplish their treatment plan by administering exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, traction, ultrasound and using equipment as necessary.
  • Reports any changes in a patient's status or needs to a supervising physical therapist.
  • Accurately records patient's progress
  • Instructs patients on proper at-home exercises and therapies.
  • Professional, respectful and works with a positive attitude.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
  • Current California state license
  • Experience within a private clinic or hospital is preferred but new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.

We are a Physical Therapist-owned practice and in business for 15 years. Our practice is patient-centered and results oriented. We are looking for a full-time ROC Star Physical Therapist who has the skills listed above and is looking for a long-term opportunity. We are willing to develop the right person by working alongside the practice owner, a Physical Therapist with over 30 years of clinical experience. At ROC Physical Therapy, you will have the opportunity to grow as a therapist with training in manual therapy, business and marketing, and leadership with the organization.
